Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data RealtyTalent (“we”) collects when you use https://realtytalent.in, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to both candidates and hiring companies.

1. Who we are
RealtyTalent is a recruitment marketplace for the real estate industry. Candidates create a free profile; hiring companies pay to post roles and to unlock a candidate's contact details.

2. The data we collect
Candidates
- Account data — name, email address, hashed password.
- Profile data — contact phone and email, city and country, years of experience, expected salary range, availability, role preferences, biography, LinkedIn profile URL and any résumé link you provide.
- Screening data — interview and assignment scores, per-skill ratings, assessor notes, and a recording of your screening interview where one has been conducted.
- Activity data — the roles you apply to and the status of those applications.
Hiring companies
- Account and company data — company name, website, location, size, founding year, description and logo.
- Verification documents — documents you upload so we can confirm your business is genuine.
- Billing data — a record of payments, credit purchases and credit spend. Card and bank details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored by us.
Everyone
- Technical and usage data — IP-derived country, pages viewed, session identifiers, referral source and campaign parameters. We use this for security, fraud prevention, pricing region detection and product analytics.
3. How candidate data is shared with companies
This is the most important thing for a candidate to understand, so we state it plainly:
- Companies browsing or searching candidates see a masked profile: your first name and last initial, city, experience, role tags and screening scores. Your phone number, email address, LinkedIn URL, résumé and interview recording are not included.
- A company only sees your full contact details after spending 50 credits to unlock your profile. That unlock is permanent for that company and is recorded.
- You can see exactly which companies have unlocked you, and when, from your dashboard.
- Applying to a role reveals your application to that company, but they still spend credits to see your contact details.
We do not sell candidate data, and we do not send candidate contact details in marketing emails to companies.

5. Who we share data with
- Hiring companies — as described in section 3.
- Payment processor (Razorpay) — to take and refund payments. They receive the payment details you enter; we receive only the outcome and a transaction reference.
- Infrastructure providers — our hosting and database providers, who store data on our behalf under contract.
- Error monitoring — to diagnose faults, where enabled.
- Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
6. International transfers
Our infrastructure is hosted outside India, including in the United States. Where data is transferred across borders we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses with our processors.
7. How long we keep data
- Account and profile data — while your account is open, then up to 12 months.
- Screening recordings and scores — up to 24 months from the screening, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Unlock and credit ledger records — retained for the life of the business record, because they evidence what a company paid for.
- Payment records — as required by tax and accounting law.
8. Your rights
You have rights over your personal data, including access, correction, deletion, and objecting to certain processing. To exercise any of them, email customersupport@realtytalent.in. We aim to respond within 30 days.

The following applies to you under applicable US state privacy laws, including the CCPA/CPRA in California.
- The right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose.
- The right to delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- The right to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
- The right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
9. Security
Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Access to candidate contact details is gated behind the credit system and every unlock is logged. We apply rate limiting to login and to profile unlocks to resist scraping and credential stuffing. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
RealtyTalent is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If a change materially affects your rights we will notify you by email or through the service before it takes effect.
